Once I got started on my GED, I knew I could do more. Michael's Way paid for my nursing supplies, uniform and shoes so I could enroll in Tech's Certified Nursing Assistant program, and they helped me get a job at a nursing home facility. Now I'm completing the RN program, too. Having a profession lets me raise my daughter with dignity and security, and at the same time it lets me help other people. Your donations, especially in-kind donations, are greatly appreciated. However, we have improved our system. Michael's Way welcomes financial donations for our mission to help adults break out of poverty through education. Your donation will fund adults in need of a technical certification course, work-related clothing shoes, exam fees, to become "work-ready" to return to our community's workforce.
A Different Way to Donate
In addition to financial donations you can donate goods to Support Outreach Services - - SOS Thrift Store. Many of our clients do not have the appropriate clothing for interviews. In doing so, SOS helps them get to the next step for a job or a better paying job.
