Michael’s Way Donates $8,000 to United Ministries Learning Center

Check for $8,000 to United MinistriesMembers of the board of Michael’s Way, Inc. presented a check for $8,000 to students and instructors of the United Ministries Learning Center in Greenville to provide funding for center students wishing to enroll in adult education and certification classes at Greenville Technical College. Michael’s Way has supported students enrolled in Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Office Assistant and heavy equipment certification classes. The non-profit organization covers costs for courses, books and supplies that are not eligible for funds from traditional sources such as the SC Education Lottery or LIFE scholarship.

Michael’s Way is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission of helping adults in Greenville County break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities that lead to better jobs and higher incomes. The organization is funded by contributions from churches, civic and professional organizations, and individuals.
