During my communication with Michael’s Way Executive Director Jan Howard and Chair of Education, Kaye Martell, I have received lots of encouragement. They have shown me compassion through my tears, patience through my confusion, and most of all, hope. They have
helped me put the pieces of my life back together after being laid off and move into a totally new career.
Michael’s Way gives people like me so much more than just funding education and helping our community. They give us a chance for a new future in a very insecure job market. They give us a chance to better ourselves and help us believe in ourselves. They are committed and determined to make a difference one student at a time. For that, I am forever grateful.
I will graduate in May and making all A’s. I feel there is hope at the end of the tunnel for a career change.
I am so blessed that Michael’s Way was there for me.
